By defining the Security on an object, an individual person or group of persons (roles) may be granted the right to View, Modify, Delete, and Approve the object being displayed.

The Security relationship creates a barrier between the object and the users on the system. If no users appear in the Security section, everybody will have the right to view and modify the object. Once one user is assigned to the Security panel, all other system users will be limited to viewing rights until they have been added to the Security relationship. Groups of users (roles) may be assigned access giving everyone in a given role the rights specified.

To remove a person or role from the Security relationship, you can clear all the permission check boxes and click the Save icon. Refresh the screen to see the results.
